For over two decades, ShieldPower has engineered UPS systems and industrial power supplies that keep critical operations running. From our headquarters in Zurich, we serve 48 countries with products certified to UL, IEC, and CE standards.
ShieldPower was founded in 2002 by a team of power electronics engineers who recognized that industrial buyers needed UPS systems designed from the ground up for the demands of manufacturing, process control, and critical infrastructure — not repurposed consumer or IT products.
Starting with a single product line of three-phase online UPS systems, we have expanded over 22 years into a comprehensive power protection portfolio covering 1kVA rack-mount units to 800kVA modular architectures. Today, our 520 employees design, manufacture, and service UPS systems installed in data centers, hospitals, refineries, and telecommunications networks across six continents.
Our engineering-first culture means that every new product generation begins with field feedback from our service teams — understanding real-world failure modes, environmental stresses, and operator pain points before the first circuit is designed.
Every product decision — component selection, thermal design, mechanical structure — is evaluated through the lens of field reliability. We invest in 72-hour burn-in testing because our customers invest their trust in our equipment.
We certify to the most stringent applicable standard — not the minimum. UL, IEC, CE, and CSA certifications are maintained through regular audits, and complete documentation is standard practice, not an add-on service.
We measure success not by units shipped, but by critical loads protected. Our engineering and service teams engage from the specification phase through the entire operational life of the equipment.
ISO 14001 certified manufacturing, a dedicated battery recycling program, and continuous efficiency improvements reflect our commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of power protection.
Our quality management system and product certifications are regularly audited by independent third-party bodies.
Whether you are an EPC contractor, system integrator, or end-user, our team is ready to support your next power protection project.
